You're in the right place

We welcome our gorgeous, newly qualified designated drivers to the Seeking Serenity Group of Alcoholics Anonymous! The first thing that we recommend is to that you join a meeting, connect with a sponsor, and begin taking your first steps into a new life of  sobriety and serenity. We can help with that! Below, you'll find links to resources that we have found useful in our earliest days of sobriety to get you started.

First things first though, what is AA?  AA is a loving fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self- supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; it does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and see who can drink the most sparkling waters in a day. We are all here to help our fellow alcoholics achieve sobriety and serenity one day at a time.
